TL;DR With the new Site ID Optimization (SIO) API, mobile advertisers can proactively block low performing site IDs on an MMP side – an industry first.
Tenjin is committed to helping advertisers protect their spend. Anti‑fraud has been core to our roadmap for a long time. Shipping our SIO API ahead of the industry demonstrates that commitment.
Regardless of whether a site ID underperforms due to fraud or low‑quality supply, Tenjin gives advertisers leverage to filter out those sources with more control and precision.
Customer Impact
“This is so cool! This has helped some campaigns take off for us. In these campaigns, we sometimes see over 200 IPM and Tenjin helps us block these site IDs globally.”
Chun-Kai Wang
Co-founder & CEO at Kooapps
Why SIO?
Site ID Optimization is essential for effective user acquisition. While ad networks often provide controls to block low‑performing site IDs, not all do. In those instances, Tenjin’s SIO API helps advertisers analyze performance at the site ID level and directly block those underperforming sources.
“Tenjin is the only MMP with Site ID–level optimization for both fraud control and smarter campaign performance.”
Jaspreet Bassan
Tenjin Product Manager
How Does It Work?
With Tenjin’s latest SIO API advertisers have more control over fraud and UA quality. It is possible to block low‑performing site IDs from attribution. This blocking can be applied globally across all apps, channels, and campaigns, or scoped to a specific channel or campaign.
What is a Site ID?
The Site ID is also known as publisher_id or source_id that reflects a unique identifier for the publisher app, source, or site that displayed an ad.
Availability
The SIO is currently invite-only. To request access, contact support@tenjin.com.
Looking Ahead
SIO closes the long‑standing gap in user acquisition by putting site ID-level control directly in advertisers’ hands. Whether the challenge is fraud or low‑quality supply, our SIO API offers precision and scalable exclusion, so you can protect your spend and improve ROAS.
The latest SIO API update is only the beginning. Tenjin is investing in a new wave of anti‑fraud capabilities that go beyond basic blocking. Get in touch if you want to learn more.
